Afrima Awards Entry Submission.

AFRIMA is a combined effort to recognize and award, promote and preserve Africa’s rich music culture. Debates, ideas, strategies have taken place over the last three years to identify a gap in the market place and most importantly to close that gap.
Also to create a brand that will truly live up to the expectations of its internal and external stakeholders. Deliberations and conferencing included regional directors and strategists from the SADEC, Eastern Africa, Central Africa, North and West Africa. AFRIMA has five Regional Directors and 54 Country Directors as part of the decision making organs.

Entries open from May 15, 2014 to July 5, 2014 and the following music professionals of African origin living either on the continent or abroad are eligible to enter for the award under the 30 categories: Artistes, Songwriters, Video Directors, Music Producers and Music Journalists as well as unrecorded artistes who can upload their songs/videos on YouTube.

Works to be submitted must be produced in the year under review –May 31, 2013 to July 4, 2014.
